Oshkosh, Wisconsin – March 10, 2021:  The skill, beauty, and excitement of aerobatic flight will be celebrated on Saturday, June 26, during the inaugural National Aerobatics Day, as announced today by Jim Bourke, President of the International Aerobatics Club (IAC).

“National Aerobatics Day is the perfect day to host an aerobatic camp, a BBQ, a practice session, or to share videos of aerobatic activity online,” Bourke said. “With over 40 chapters nationwide and two international chapters, IAC members will be organizing these types of activities…

IAC members interested in becoming an aerobatic Judge usually have the opportunity to attend classes hosted by an IAC Chapter. In light of the pandemic and with COVID-19 guidelines in most states restricting large indoor gatherings, IAC is offering an online school for both aspiring and returning judges.

The 2021 edition of the Offical IAC Rule Book is now available to members at https://www.iac.org/download-contest-rules. (IAC member login is required.)

Most of the changes are a direct result of IAC member input. Twenty-five proposals were submitted. After these were published last fall, other IAC members provided comments.
