The IAC Board of Directors met in San Carlos, CA on April 6 and 7, 2013. While complete meeting minutes will be published at a later date, here's a summary of actions taken at that meeting. Most actions described are covered in the agenda packet, which is available on the IAC website.

At the Spring Board Meeting on April 6/7, 2013, the IAC Board of Directors determined that Form A as produced by the current version of OpenAero software is NOT ACCEPTABLE for Free Program submittal at U.S. Regional Contests. This is basically a CIVA form and does not meet the requirements of IAC Official Contest Rules Sect. 6.12, regardless of the logo that may be shown. OpenAero-produced Forms B and C ARE acceptable provided that they are certified and dated by a current judge per Rules Sect. 6.14, along the right-hand margin on the long side of the form (in the usual place). IAC Aerobatic Schools Liaison and founder Miriam Levin has resigned due to increasing demands for her talents. IAC South-Central Region Director Lynn Bowes has accepted the role.

The IAC has joined the EAA in providing speakers to present material online at the EAA webinar series.
IAC has provided presenters every month since June 2011. We are excited about the added value this brings to the EAA webinar series as a club, sharing valuable information about unusual attitude flying and gaining some exposure for the IAC as part of the EAA.
