Verne Jobst died peacefully in McHenry,
 Illinois on February 13, 2024, at the age of 92.
Verne Jobst was one of IAC’s longest-serving 
presidents, holding office from 1973 to 1978. 
At that time, the IAC was set on a rapid growth path, 
and this was encouraged, enhanced, and made
possible by Verne’s energy and relentless devotion 
to the IAC and the sport. He loved the club, what it represented, the people in it. They loved him 
as well.

At their meeting in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on November 11-12, the IAC board of directors approved the recommend Known Compulsory sequences for both power and glider categories for the 2024 contest season.

The sequences attached at the bottom of this page were prepared by the sequence committee. The committee recommended using the same Primary Known from last year.

"The Leo" - National Point Series Championship

The 2023 season saw an increase in pilots meeting the 
3 region criteria for competing for the National Point Series Championship and the Annual Leo Trophies.   As a reminder, the NPSC is a National point series comprised of ranking points for pilots that fly in at least 3 different IAC regions.

      IAC Collegiate Program Chair, Nina Stewart, offers her congratulations to the winners of the 2023 Collegiate Championships. The collegiate eagle trophies will be presented to the recipients at the IAC Member Gathering in Oshkosh, Wisconsin at AirVenture on Friday, July 26, 2024.
