In the January issues of Sport Aerobatics and In the Loop, there was a mention in the Editor's Log that we will be putting together a 50th anniversary poster to be available online or at AirVenture for purchase in the pavilion. We can fit 260 photos of our IAC members’ airplanes on the 25-by-38-inch poster. To date, nearly half of the needed photos have been collected.The final layout of the poster has to be sent to the print shop by April 3. So, don’t wait — send  your photos by March 27. Space is running out and time is precious.

The Legacy category, which had been provisional,and established at the 2019 Spring Board Meeting, concluded its first contest season in 2019. While it was not widely utilized, it was decided at the 2019 Fall Board meeting that it should continue into the 2020 contest season with an eye toward including it in our U.S. Nationals. Everyone likes the idea of the former competitors returning to both regional contests and Nationals and competing among themselves.

The IAC helps facilitate the three following scholarships annually. The scholarships all have an application deadline of June 30, 2020.  Application forms can be downloaded from the IAC website: www.iac.org/scholarships . Follow the submission instructions on the application form carefully. Return the completed applications to: iac@eaa.org  The recipients of the three scholarships are announced at AirVenture in July 2020 (the recipient does not need to be present).
