IAC Pavilion Forums at AirVenture are "Pitts-Centric"

In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the first test flight of the Pitts S-1, speakers at the IAC Pavilion will cover subjects in their forums that are "Pitts-Centric". Forums will be ongoing from Tuesday through Saturday (July 21-25) that will delve into all areas of the airplane and the aerobatics for which it is known.

Gary Debaun, US Nationals CD, has signed up to give a forum on "Buying a Used Pitts", Wednesday, July 22 at 10:00. Gary has done many pre-buys over the years and says, "You better assign me a time slot or I will be talking on this subject all day!". He will fly to AirVenture in his Pitts project, still unpainted, and utilize the specially designated aircraft parking for Pitts next to the IAC building. Remember to register for parking in advance.

You don't want to miss Don Weaver's forum on "The Aerodynamics of Basic Aerobatics", Friday, July 24 at 11:30. His presentation includes diagrams, photos and video shot in Sleazy, the Berz Flight Training Pitts S2B.  Don is a competition pilot from Michigan IAC Chapter 88 and a CFI who has been instructing aerobatics and tailwheel endorsement since 1999.
