Regional Series Update
The IAC awards first, second, and third-place titles in all categories in each of six regions. Each pilot flies a three-contest minimum with the Nationals as a wild-card. The average of the three best contests flown in a region are used to arrive at a total percentage.

Joe Haycraft, 93, flew west Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Born January 13, 1930, in Owensboro, he died suddenly in Fernandina Beach, Florida, where he had recently moved with his wife of 69 years, Sue Keller Haycraft.

Joe was a pilot extraordinaire. He began his flying career immediately upon graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1953 when he entered the United States Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant, flying a Sabre Jet in South Korea shortly after the Armistice. Congratulations to the 2024 US Unlimited Aerobatic Team members!
The USA will be represented by a group of pilots made up of veterans of the sport. The majority of the 2024 team pilots have participated in multiple World Aerobatic Championships in the Unlimited and Advanced categories.
This team will be competing at the 32nd FAI World Aerobatic Championships in 2024. Location to be determined.

IAC Policy and Procedures Section 229 (which governs the Sequence Program) provides the proposed sequences to be available for member comment for the next 30 days. Deadline September 30, 2023, 1700 CST. Feedback must be received within the 30-day comment period for these 2024 sequences.  PDFs of the proposed Power and Glider knowns for 2024 are available for download below.   With the exception of the Primary Power which the sequence committee recommends remains unchanged from 2023.

The submission deadline for IAC members to propose changes to the IAC Official Contest Rules for the 2024 contest season was July 1st. These proposals have now been compiled. A total of 46 proposals from the membership were received. A PDF with all of the rule proposals is available for download below.  Although organized some to assist with evaluation of similar inputs, these are generally listed in the order received.
