Ron writes: Congratulations to Brian Pfam who scored a first place finish in the final IAC competition of the season. Brian is the sole RV pilot competing in the Primary category this year and expects to move up to the Sportsman level in 2019…

This year 22 proposals, evaluated by the eight member Rules Committee, were recommended to the IAC Board of Directors for adoption into the 2019 Rule Book, and an additional three rules proposals were conditionally recommended if indicated changes were included.  Of these, 11 were approved.  Approved proposals have been sent back to the Rules Committee for inclusion in the 2019 IAC Rulebook.

The approved proposals are

2019-02  Glider seatbelt requirements eased.
2019-04  Allow CIVA Judges to judge at the IAC Nationals.

For the last two years IAC has hosted their merchandise on the EAA Shop site. Recently EAA did an upgrade on on their site and the arrangement of items has changed from what has been in place previously. The clothing is no longer divided up into divisions such as, Warbirds, IAC and Vintage. When shopping the site now you will see categories of clothing such as Mens, Womens, Kids, etc.

In coordination with our merchandising vendor Promotional Designs, Inc. (PDI) we are in the planning stages of having an IAC only…
