The IAC Annual Meeting date has been moved from April to July 2005 and will be held at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, Wisconsin Fly-in. Since the results of the 2005 election of officers and directors is announced at the annual meeting, the deadline for nominations for IAC Board of Director candidates will now be due on May 16, 2005.

November 5, 2004 – Betty Stewart and Dorothy Hester became the 30th and 31st inductees into the International Aerobatic Hall of Fame during a presentation at the EAA Museum, Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Friday, November 5, 2004.

Stewart, of Moscow, Idaho, was a member of the 1976, 1980 and 1982 United States aerobatic teams. She is honored as the first person to win the world champion title at two consecutive world events. In 1980, she won three individual gold medals and the…

The International Aerobatic Club's 2004 U.S. National Aerobatic Championships in Denison, Texas, wrap-up Friday, 0ctober 1. The weeklong championships determine the top three U.S. competitors in four categories of competition. Also selected will be the 2005 Unlimited Aerobatic Team comprised of up to five men and five women who will compete in the 23rd World Aerobatic Championships held July12 – July 23, 2005, in Burgos, Spain. The Annual Meeting of the International Aerobatic Club (IAC) was held at the Sun ‘n Fun Fly-in on April 17th, 2004 in Lakeland, Florida. IAC Nominations Chair Ann Salcedo reports that incumbent directors Michael Heuer, Vicki Cruse and Howie Stock were re-elected to the Board. Newcomer Debby Rihn-Harvey will take over the South Central region directorship. Graham Bird and Scott Poehlmann won the unopposed officer positions of club Treasurer and Secretary.
