A free aviation safety awareness seminar and training the weekend of September 18-21 is open for registration.  The event will be held at Scanlon Aviation at Gnoss field (KDVO) in Novato, CA. 

A free safety seminar will be held on September 18th at 7pm, and from September 19-21 there will be a hands on training clinic with Rich Stowell, master CFI and world renowned aerobatics instructor.  Topics include stall/spin accident scenarios and recovery, emergency maneuvers training, and more.

Louis B. "Bud" Judy, a lifelong member of the International Aerobatic Club (IAC), passed away on May 7 after more than 50 years of dedication to aerobatics. A three-time U.S. National Champion, Bud earned his final Intermediate Category title in 2006 at the age of 72. Known not only for his achievements but also for his passion for the “perfect flight,” he contributed greatly to the IAC through leadership roles, competitions, mentorship and so much more. The 2025 IAC Board of Directors election has closed and results were presented during the annual IAC member meeting at 2025  Oshkosh Airventure by IAC president, Jim Bourke. 

Michael Lents, Mike Gallaway, Nathan Reudy and Phillip Gragg all won a Board of Directors seat while Jordan Ashley won the election for the role of Treasurer.  Below is a voting summary:
