EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2021 will include a full roster of forums in the IAC’s Vicki Cruse Educational Pavilion at the IAC Aerobatic Center. The forums are scheduled daily from Tuesday, July 27, through Friday, July 30, 2021, and run for approximately one hour and 15 minutes each.
A fantastic lineup of aerobatic and unusual attitude forums throughout the week are being planned. The speakers below are scheduled and more information on their topics will be added - check back!

8:30 a.m. - Budd Davisson : TOPIC: Aerobatic Classics: How do they fly?
Bio: Budd has over 44 years and more than 5,500 hours of dual training given - just in the pattern teaching people to master the Pitts on the ground and in the air. Budd concentrates training on overcoming the mystique of the Pitts and similar airplanes.

BIO: Gordon is a Master CFI-Aerobatics and an FAA Gold Seal instructor. He flies professionally for a cargo carrier in a Boeing 767 and has over 13,000 hours of flight time. He is a Sportsman Competitor, first in a Decathlon and more recently in a Pitts S-1C. He is a regular author for Sport Aerobatics Magazine and In the Loop e-newsletter. |

Bio: Dagmar is an International World Aerobatic Champion who has competed for the United States and also for Germany, where she is from. She is a certified flight instructor and professor at Metropolitan State University Denver (MSU). She has been involved in aviation for over 30 years. She is the 2018 Frank Price Cup recipient. |

Bio: In her memoir, Flying Free: My Victory over fear to become the first Latina pilot on the U.S. Aerobatic team, she shares her personal journey from timid child to the World Aerobatic Championships. In 2004, she earned a Ph.D. in computer science at University of California, Berkeley. For more than a decade, Cecilia has excelled in an illustrious career. She has conducted research with Nobel Prize winners, designed software for Mars missions at NASA, and was awarded the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers by President Obama. She went on to become the first Latina full professor in the College of Engineering — her dream job — at the University of Washington. |

10 a.m. - Bill Finagin : TOPIC : Suddenly out of control - what to do when you suddenly find yourself out of control BIO: WIlliam "Bill" Finagin was inducted into the IAC Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in 2008. Bill is a MCFI-Aerobatic and does flight instruction for unusual attitude/upset training, aerobatics and Pitts checkouts. He was a compeittion pilot for many years through 2008 and continued on as an aerobatic judge until 2014 |

Forming clubs or co-ownership agreements can be a great way to fly aerobatic capable aircraft. The discussion includes tips on how to and pitfalls to avoid when setting up an aerobatic aircraft acro-ownership or club. Bruce wrote a three part series for Sport Aerobatics magazine titled, "Tale of 2 LLCs" beginning with the August issue. |

1:00 p.m. - Tony Horvath and Josh Pruzek : TOPIC: Pitts Model 11 - Eleven years in the making BIO: Making his living supporting custom aerobatic aircraft, Tony has established himself as the go-to source for aerobatic aircraft re-builds, and modifications. His list of aircraft builds and modification are impressive including - Sean Tucker's Oracle Challenger III, Wyche Coleman's Wolf Pitts Samson II, Peter Kohmann's Pitts S-T and Pete Diaz's Pitts S-2S. |

11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. - Skip Stewart : TOPIC: Pitts mods for strength and performance Skip is the recipient of the 2013 Bill Barber Award for Showmanship and the 2015 Art Scholl Award. He has over ten thousand hours of flying experience, is an Airline Transport Pilot in a Boeing 727, and MD-11 Captain. He is a Certified Flight Instructor and has owned and operated an aerobatic flight school, He is a past regional aerobatic competitor and has served as Chief Pilot for a Fortune 100 company. He has been entertaining airshow fans around the World for more than fourteen years.

BIO: Mike is a 3-time Master CFI-Aerobatics, Coach at the University of North Dakota for their Aerobatic Team. He was a member of the U.S. Advanced Team who brought home a second place medal from the 2018 World Advanced Aerobatic Championships. He is the Vice President of IAC chapter 78 in Minnesota and the current IAC Sequence Committee Chair. |

BIO: DJ is the 2019 Annual Award Recipient of the Robert L. Heuer Award for Judging Excellence. He is the IAC Judges program chair and one of our most prolific judges. He played a pivotal role in revising the IAC Rule book as a member of the Rule Book Refactgor Working Group. DJ is also a Judge school instructor and has taught mutliple judge schools each year for the last 12 years.

BIO: Greg Koontz is a full time airshow and aerobatics professional. Greg and his wife Cora run a Bed & Breakfast on a private grass strip in Ashville, AL. The B&B is home for Greg's busy aerobatic school and airshow business. He offers an annual scholarship in Memory of Bobby Younkin for a CFI as an aerobatic instructor course if already aerobatic experienced or as a basic aerobatic course to a CFI with no aerobatic experience. |
