IAC's officers, directors, and staff have begun preparation for the much-anticipated EAA AirVenture which begins on July 23rd, 2018.
Highlight of the event for IAC members will be the 25th Anniversary of the One Design DR-107 and the 45th Anniversary of the Acro Sport. Twelve vertical panels along with over 60 photos and text will tell the history of the the anniversary planes and the builders who have enjoyed their homebuilt projects as well as the pilots who have flown it with many competition successes. Just to the south and east of the IAC Pavilion will be the parking areas for the annversary planes which will be pre-registering for the event. A special display in the parking area across from the front of the IAC Pavilion will feature examples of both planes which have been built over the years. In addition to the exhibit, IAC has organized a series of forums which will run throughout the week, some of which will focus on the DR-107 and the Acro Sport.
The initial version of the IAC Pavilion Plan is now available for download HERE. Also included for download is a sample "IAC" sign which is to be used by pilots arriving and which should be shown to EAA Parking personnel so you can be directed to IAC parking slots.
We encourage all IAC'ers attending the event to download the Plan document. There is a lot of information in this booklet and information on the "IAC Gathering" -- food, drink, and conversation for all members in the EAA's Nature Center.
