50 years ago - 1973 November issue of Sport Aerobatics

The new 1974 Known sequences are released. The Intermediate sequence had a total of 168K and could be flown by a 150hp Citabria with an inverted system.

25 years ago - 1998 December issue of Sport Aerobatics.

The new Harold Neumann Award is established. 

In conjunction with the generosity of the Harold Neumann family and friends, the IAC Board of Directors approved the creation of a new award and trophy.

This new award will be presented for the first time in 1999 to the best chief judge for the year and recognized on a permanent trophy. 

Harold Neumann was inducted into the IAC Aerobatic Hall of Fame this year (1998).

10 years ago - 2023 December issue of Sport Aerobatics.

The 27th World Aerobatic Championships were held in Sherman/Denison, Texas.

The U.S. Unlimited Men's team took second place silver led by the top scoring pilots; Rob Holland, Michael Racy and Nikolay Timofeev.

The U.S. Unlimited Women's team took second place silver led by the top scoring pilots; Melissa Pemberton and Debby Rihn-Harvey.
