International Aerobatics Day 2024 is coming up this Saturday, June 22nd!
To celebrate we will be inviting Aerobatic Pilots to join us at Johnston Regional Airport, Smithfield North Carolina (KJNX )starting at 1000, as well as any pilots or people interested in aerobatics!
The aerobatic practice areas will be available all day, with lunch at Low n Slow BBQ at 1200, and an informal Q&A/Meet and Greet at the FBO at 1300. If you are interested in aerobatics and don't know where to start, or have any questions, that will be the time to get them answered! The Whiskey girl will also be available for introductory lessons!
The Decathlon will be parked out by the FBO for anyone to check out, and hopefully we will have some pilots bringing their acro mounts willing to share them! We are working on getting some judges for critiquing, and hopefully so people can work on their IAC smooth awards!
