The Awards Banquet on Friday, September 29 is sponsored by Aura Aero for pilots and volunteers.
Guests - A ticket for each friend or family member, who it not volunteering, needs to be purchased for this dinner, either at initial pre-registration, or by editing your pre-registration and adding a banquet ticket to your shopping cart. Deadline for ticket purchase is September 10. Tickets will not be sold onsite.
3.3.1 The Contest Director may request rules deviations from the IAC Contest Sanctioning Committee.
Exception: The Contest Director may waive the Boundary Judges and Boundary Infringement Penalty sections of this rule book at their own discretion. For the 2023 U.S. Nationals, the Contest Director, Shad Coulson, has elected to forego boundary judges at the contest.
The deadline for IAC Rules Change proposals is July 1, as noted in Section 1 of the IAC Contest Rules. A fantastic lineup of aerobatic and unusual attitude forums throughout the week have been confirmed. This year’s theme is “Aerobatics Around the World”. You won’t want to miss three forums on internationally built aircraft; “Bücker – Stradivarius of Biplanes”, Canadian RV14-building, flying, competing”, “How the Sukhoi was born” and "Flight qualities of the new French Integral".
