You’re invited to join IAC Chapter 61 for the 44th consecutive running (longest in IAC history) of the Giles Henderson Memorial Challenge (formerly known as the Salem Illinois Regional Aerobatic Contest). The event will be held at the Salem Leckrone airport (SLO) and will include Primary through Unlimited power categories. Spectators and especially children are welcome at no charge.
Registration and practice will be held on Thursday, 16 May and Friday 17 May, starting at 10:00. The contest will begin with a 7:30 briefing on Saturday, 18 May and conclude by noon on Sunday 19 May.
The banquet will be held Saturday evening at the Elks Lodge (315 North Broadway, Salem, IL, 62881).

Lodging and Transportation:
Holiday Inn Express has reserved a block of rooms for us for $76 per night plus tax (suite upgrades are an additional $20 per night). This includes breakfast, which will start at 6AM in order to accommodate our contest schedule. Reservations can be made by:

There is no charge for cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation date. Reservations must be made by 18 April 2019. After this date, any remaining block rooms will be released and reservations will be accepted on a space and rate available basis.
