You’re invited to join IAC Chapter 61 for the 43nd consecutive running (longest in IAC history) of the Giles Henderson Memorial Challenge (formerly known as the Salem Illinois Regional Aerobatic Contest). The event will be held at the Salem Lekrone airport (SLO) and will include Primary through Unlimited power categories. Spectators and especially children are welcome. Registration and practice will Friday, 8 June, starting at 10:00. The contest will begin with a 7:30 briefing on Saturday, 9 June and conclude by noon on Sunday 10 June. There will also be a $100 cash award for the winner of the Grass Roots medallion in honor of Giles Henderson. The banquet will be held Saturday evening at the Salem American Legion Post 128 (1001 E Main St, Salem, IL 62881).
