Congratulations to the 2022 YAK 52 Aerobatic Team!

In January 2022, Pawel Miko, Eugene Mosquito, Ross Ferguson, and Marian Harris submitted their Official Entry Form to participate in the 6th FAI World YAK - 52 Aerobatic Championship. The IAC Board of Directors approved their team commitment at a special meeting January 18, 2022. 

The team will be competing in the World YAK - 52 Aerobatic Championship in Torun, Poland starting June 3, 2022.  Marian Harris and Ross Ferguson have previously competed at the 2017 YAK -52 World Championships in Tula, Russia.

Donation Levels;

  • $5000: Help to cover the cost of world-class coaching at training camp before the championship
  • $2500: Helps sponsor the team's entry fees at WAYAK 2022
  • $1000: Helps sponsor the team's airfare to Torun, Poland.
  • $500:   Helps cover the cost of fuel and checkouts in overseas aircraft.
  • $100:   Helps cover daily living expenses while in Torun.

 

The International Aerobatic Club is responsible for facilitating US Aerobatic Teams competing at World Championships. International amateur sporting events fall under the IAC 501(c)(3) organization to which donations are deductible under the Internal Revenue Code.
