Denison Chamber of Commerce

http://www.denisontexas.us/

The Denison Area Chamber of Commerce has a long history of serving our members and community.  It all began over 100 years ago on February 12, 1912, when a group of business leaders met and determined we needed an organization to move the community forward.  The first board was comprised of 5 dedicated businessmen who started us on a path that we still follow today.  That is a path that calls for leaders to establish goals and to recognize the needs of the community and the businesses and then to address those needs…whether it’s a marketing trip, educational institutions, tourism related, lake related, or health care.

Dell AeroSpeed

Dell focuses his energy and skills to aircraft  improvements and custom builds. Dell is the quintessential “airport kid”. With a WW2 Spitfire pilot as a grandfather  and a tower controller and long time pilot as a Dad, Dell has aviation in his blood. Buying a Cessna 150 at 16 with some friends, Dell learned to fly early on. Also interested in all things mechanical, Dell combined his interests with his sense of duty and served with the Air National Guard for 6 years, becoming a crew chief on the C-130 Hercules.

Having gained valuable experience from the best, he went on to achieve all the necessary ratings to become a successful business jet pilot.

While traveling the world in Falcons, Challengers and Gulfstreams, Dell never forgot his early passion for the pure joy of flight and managed to build and restore several aircraft while working full time.

His aircraft building experience as well as ever progressing aerobatic proficiency came and are reflected in his designs: a strong believer in ” lighter is better”, Dell applied all the lessons learned in his second One Design and achieved similar if not superior performance with an aircraft with 30% less horsepower (and less fuel consumption).
