On Thursday, July 28, the IAC was notified by FAA in Washington of the publication of FAA policy N 8900.372 which extends a long-term Aerobatic Practice Area (LT APA) from 24 months to 36 months. This is very good news and is the result of the work of our Government Relations Committee and in particular Bill Finagin and Wayne Roberts. Sue Gardner, FAA’s national airshow coordinator, provided the document to to the IAC on Thursday.

New this year, during the gathering the 2015 Annual Non-Flying Award Recipients will be presented with plaques for the Kathy Jaffe Award, Frank Price Cup, Harold Neumann Trophy, Robert L. The first planes have arrived in Hoison, Czech Republic on July 17-19. Pilots will be arriving over the next couple days and then Coach Timofeev puts on the spit shine and polish!

Team members will compete at the 12th World Advanced Aerobatic Championship in Radom, Poland from August 4 through August 14.
