Alice Johnson, a dedicated and passionate IAC member and volunteer, has been chosen to be the 2026 Unlimited Aerobatics Team Manager!
Alice brings a wealth of U.S. aerobatics teams related experience to the role. Alice was the U.S. National Aerobatic Team Manager for the '23-'24 contest season, which included the World Advanced Aerobatic Championships (WAAC) held from October 25th to November 3rd, 2024, at the Jean Airport in Nevada. This followed her previous service as Unlimited U.S. National team manager in the 2022 contest season.
Alice also played a critical role in the coordination of the 2024 U.S. Unlimited Aerobatics team by organizing much of the 'behind the scenes' work to that allowed the '24 U.S. Unlimited Team members to focus on competing at the highest level at the 2024 World Aerobatic Championships. This included things like lodging, logistics, uniform prep, meal organization, briefing attendance, and even the organization of practice flights in Poland during the lead up to the competition.
