The submission deadline for IAC members to propose changes to the IAC Official Contest Rules for the 2026 contest season have now been compiled. A total of 25 proposals from the membership were received before the deadline, with another 11 proposals resulting from the Nationals contest recently added. A PDF with all of the proposals is available for download below or for viewing online here. Although organized some to assist with evaluation of similar inputs, these are generally listed in the order received.
Thanks to our members who submitted their ideas to improve the IAC rules and our competitions. All members are now encouraged to review the proposals and provide feedback. You can address any or all, at your preference, but make sure to reference the Proposal Number on each so we know what you are commenting on. In general, we would appreciate input on:
a) Do you support the proposed change concept or not,
and
b) Any suggestions and comments that you believe would be helpful toward decisions on whether to approve and/or modify them to be acceptable.

Feedback must be received within the comment period. The deadline is November 7, 2025. The Rules Committee will review the submittals and your comments, then present their recommendations to the IAC Board of Directors.
