Sport Aerobatics Accepting Community Submissions for Rob Holland Public Remembrance Feature

Sport Aerobatics is currently accepting community notes and photo submissions for Rob Holland’s public remembrance feature in the July/August issue of the magazine.

To honor Rob Holland, who was the IAC Vice President, 13-time consecutive U.S. Nationals Aerobatic Champion, and one of the greatest airshow pilots of our time, the biggest Sport Aerobatics issue of the year will be featuring a cover article celebrating Rob’s life that ended tragically in a fatal aircraft crash on April 24, 2025. The main feature will be followed by a public remembrance feature where friends, fans, IAC members, and the aerobatic community can share photos, thoughts, memories, stories, condolences, and other notes related to Rob and the extraordinary life he lived.

Anyone who wishes to contribute may do so by sending their completed written submissions (100 words or less) and/or high quality .jpg or .png photographs to editor@iac.org.

The IAC thanks the community in advance for all contributions. Because Rob is so beloved and world-renowned in our sport, there may not be enough space for all submissions to be included in the final published Sport Aerobatics issue. However, every single submission is treasured, and submissions that are not published will be saved and given to Rob’s loved ones.

The deadline for written submissions is May 12, 2025, and the deadline for photo submissions is May 19, 2025.
