The organizers of the 6th FAI World YAK-52 Aerobatic Championship have advised there are not enough entries for the championship. Because the YAK-52 championship is being held in conjunction with the 3rd FAI World Intermediate Aerobatic Championship, the YAK-52 entrants were invited to compete in the Intermediate championship. With planning already in place, the USA YAK-52 team elected to continue on and accepted the invitation to compete in the Intermediate championship.
The FAI World Intermediate Aerobatic Championship takes place in Torun, Poland starting June 4 through June 11. The USA YAK-52 registered competitors are Pawel Miko, Ross Ferguson, and Marian Harris. Follow them on their FB page: USA Yak 52 Aerobatic Team
