Tim Brill Appointed IAC Safety Chair

Tim Brill of Reno, Nevada has been appointed IAC's new Safety Chair by President Mike Heuer. Tim replaces Steve Johnson of Nashville in this position.  Steve has faithfully served IAC for a number of years and brought many improvements to our safety programs and culture. 

Tim is a highly experienced aerobatic pilot and instructor with over 7,000 hours of flying time including over 2,500 as a CFI for aerobatics and spin training. He has experience in 47 different types of aircraft and is an aviation author and speaker.

A member of IAC Chapter 118, he is also a National Judge and holder of the "All 5" Achievement Awards patch.  He was the Western-Pacific CFI of the Year in 2013.

With this experience and dedication, we know Tim will bring further enhancements to IAC's safety efforts, which have been a key program since our inception in 1970.
