Free Programs Forms A, B, and C, and OpenAero Software

At the Spring Board Meeting on April 6/7, 2013, the IAC Board of Directors determined that Form A as produced by the current version of  OpenAero software is NOT ACCEPTABLE for Free Program submittal at U.S. Regional Contests. This is basically a CIVA form and does not meet the requirements of IAC Official Contest Rules Sect. 6.12, regardless of the logo that may be shown.  OpenAero-produced Forms B and C ARE acceptable provided that they are certified and dated by a current judge per Rules Sect. 6.14, along the right-hand margin on the long side of the form (in the usual place). Sample IAC forms may be viewed in Rules Appendix 7, and downloadable blank Forms A are available at https://www.iac.org/files/cd-packet/Tab3-F17P%20Form_A%2012-Fig.pdf (12 figure) and at https://www.iac.org/files/cd-packet/Tab3-F18P%20Form_A%2015-Fig.pdf (15 figure). Handwritten or transcribed forms are acceptable, and must be certified and dated by a current judge.
