The submission deadline for IAC members to propose changes to the IAC Official Contest Rules for the 2027 contest season has passed and these have now been compiled. A total of 19 proposals are included for this year. A PDF with all of the proposals is available for download below or for viewing online here. These are generally listed in the order that they were received.
Thanks to our members who submitted their ideas to improve the IAC rules and our competitions. All members are now encouraged to review the proposals and provide feedback. Member input influences Rule Committee recommendations and Board of Directors decisions. You can address any or all, at your preference, but make sure to reference the Proposal Number on each so we know what you are commenting on. In general, we would appreciate input on:
a) Do you support the proposed change concept or not,
and
b) Any suggestions and comments that you believe would be helpful toward decisions on whether to approve and/or modify them to be acceptable.

Feedback must be received by September 30, 2026. The Rules Committee will review the submittals and your comments, then present their recommendations to the IAC Board of Directors.
