2022 Ohio Fall Frolic Canceled

Hello All,

Unfortunately, I and the rest of the contest planning team have had to make the tough decision to cancel the Ohio Fall Frolic contest for this year.

As many of you know, the toughest challenge for a successful contest is staffing, and of positions needed, judges become critical as we're required to have a certain number. We started the week with enough, but as all our judges come from out of state , weather began to become the limiting factor, leaving us without enough for a contest. I thank all of them for the work and commitment to being judges and willing to volunteer at our contest and am happy they were able to give us early decisions to not leave you all hanging.

Because of this we wanted to cancel early enough to give you all time to make changes to plans and not begin your adventures to Ohio too early.

All of you put in a lot of time and energy to our shared passion for aerobatics and I want to thank you all for your commitment to the sport. Keep flying, and keep sharing this passion. We were all looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones, AND welcoming several first-time competitors this weekend, but we'll make it happen again in the future!
