The World Air Games begin in Dubai, UAE, this coming week and IAC member-pilots are on hand to compete against the best in the world in both powered and glider aerobatic events and represent the USA. Current US National Aerobatic Champion Rob Holland left two days ago for the Emirates and will practice at the contest site on December 1st. Rob will fly Zoltan Veres' MXS. Eric Lentz-Gauthier will be competing in the glider aerobatic competition and will fly a Swift shared with Markus Feyerabend. KNOWNS, FREE KNOWNS, IAC, and CIVA

I have appreciated the discussion regarding the new Free Known flight programs CIVA will introduce at the World and European Championships in 2016, both in power and glider, and thank all of you who have provided feedback and opinions. The IAC Board has approved the appointment of three new people to our leadership team of volunteers:

• IAC Collegiate Program – this important program which brings college students into aerobatic flying will now be headed by Jordan Ashley of Marion, Indiana. A graduate of Purdue University, Jordan currently heads up accounting and finance for a church in his area.
