2023 Collegiate Program Winners Announced

      IAC Collegiate Program Chair, Nina Stewart, offers her congratulations to the winners of the 2023 Collegiate Championships. The collegiate eagle trophies will be presented to the recipients at the IAC Member Gathering in Oshkosh, Wisconsin at AirVenture on Friday, July 26, 2024. The results of the championships have been verified and are as follows:

Team Championships:UND
1st - University of North Dakota, Scoring 8438.16 out of 9690.00 points / 87. %

US Air Force Collegiate Aerobatic Team


2nd - United States Air Force Academy, Scoring 10513.66 out of 12570.00 points / 83.64%

MSU


3rd - Metropolitan State University of Denver, Scoring 5377.33 out of 6460.00 points / 83.24%

 

Individual Championships

2024 IAC Collegiate program individual winners

1st - Andrew Coughlin; University of North Dakota, scoring 9913.30 out of 11700.00 points / 84.73%.


2nd - Shawn Higgins; University of North Dakota, scoring 9802.33 out of 11700.00 points / 83.78% 
3rd- Andrew Fisher; Metropolitan State University of Denver, scoring 8242.69 out of 10400.00 points / 79.26%.

The IAC Collegiate Program aims to increase the flying safety and interest level of collegiate pilots in aerobatics, aerobatic competition, and the International Aerobatic Club. Two awards exist, the “Collegiate National Championship Team Award” and the “Individual Collegiate National Champion Award.”
