Akrofest

This is a new date due to a scheduling conflict with another airport event.

Lodging:

Contact the Borrego Springs Resort (760) 767-5700 and ask for the "IAC Pilots" rate.  Call early because it sells out.

Transportation:

Rental cars are not usually available, but the Resort has a shuttle and some people will have cars.  Rides to and from the resort have never been a problem. 

Contest:

Akrofest is a five power category contest with a four minute free.

Please do not use the IAC pre-registration system.  Pre-registration will be available at www.iac36.org(link is external).  A discount will be offered for pre-payment.  Last day to receive the discount is 10/08/2018 (Monday).

Thursday  

0900-Sunset practice and registration day

Friday  

0630 Breakfast starts at the Resort restaurant.  Breakfast is included in your registration fee.  Breakfast for guests can be purchased at the time of registration.

0700 sharp mandatory briefing at the Resort restaurant. 

0800-1900 FLYING!

Saturday

0630 Breakfast  at the resort restaurant,

0700 Roll call and order of flight at 0700 sharp at the restaurant

0730 Contest photo

1800 Cocktail hour at the hotel bar

1900 Awards banquet on the hotel patio
