See you in Oshkosh!

The U.S. National Aerobatic Championships are just a week away. Opening Ceremonies take place on Saturday, September 22 at 11:00am in the EAA Aviation Museum's Founders Wing. Over 80 competitors are preregistered with another 15 registering onsite. A large contingent of collegiate competitors are coming from Colorado, MSU and the USAF Academy, and the UND aerobatic team from North Dakota will be in attendance as well.

The WAAC is complete. The USA has done very well. Individual medals were received in all Unknowns with Aaron McCarton taking Gold in Unknown 2, and Matt Dunfee taking Bronze in Unknown 1 and 3. Overall, two members finished in the top 10 and as a Team they received the Silver!

This has been a remarkable event. The Advanced team has had to overcome some of the most difficult situations that can happen and continued to preform as a team and succeed!  As Mark Fullerton told me in briefings several times, "His guys " were doing well and he felt that he there were some that could make it...

Our US Advanced Aerobatic Team is now competing in Ploiesti, Romania at the World Advanced Aerobatic Championships. As of August 18th the Free Known program was completed and the Free Unknown #1 was in progress.

Members were requested to respond to iacrulescomments [at] gmail.com with their views and opinions on these proposals. When you visit https://www.iac.org/contests you'll see a blue 'Register' button next to every upcoming event. Just click it, fill out the required information, and submit the form.

To see who else has registered for an event, go to https://www.iac.org/contests, click on a contest name, then click the blue 'View Pre-Registrations' button.
