EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019 will include a full roster of forums at the IAC’s Vicki Cruse Educational Pavilion. The forums are scheduled daily from Tuesday, July 23, through Friday, July 27, 2019, and run for approximately one hour and 15 minutes each. Special guest Richard Giles will give a forum on Wednesday morning about the Giles-200 design and build process as part of the type’s 25th anniversary celebration at AirVenture. Engineer and test pilot for American Champion, Jody Bradt will talk about designing the Decathlon the same morning.

Hello, IAC members, it is time to elect our 2019 slate of officers and directors. Nominating petitions are due by April 13, so don't delay. Voting will be done electronically on the IAC website, beginning June 26, voting ends on July 22, results will be announced and new officers and directors installed at the close of the IAC Annual Membership Meeting at AirVenture in Oshkosh on July 26.

Positions to be filled are Vice President, Treasurer, and four Directors. Directors are elected "at large", not by region, and are then assigned a Region after they're elected. If you wish to see...

Increased Presentation K across the board - what you need to know

One of the approved 2019 Approved Rule Proposals changed the presentation Ks for all Power Sequences. For this year only, by IAC Board of Directors majority decision, anyone with a Free sequence does not have to have their 2018 approved Free sequence redrawn or rechecked by a judge. If you plan to create a new Free sequence, then you still have to have it checked by a judge as usual.

At a Special Teleconference Meeting of the IAC Board of directors held today, Ron Schreck IAC #433751 was chosen, by unanimous affirmation by the Board of Directors, as the Contest Director for the 2019 U.S. Nationals to be held in Salina, Kansas, 21-27 September 2019.

Ron is a member of the IAC Board of Directors and serves as the South Central Regional Director, a position he has held since he was elected in 2016. Ron lives in Gold Hill Airpark, North Carolina.
