**REGISTRATION CLOSES THIRTY-FIVE DAYS PRIOR TO CONTEST DUE TO DoD REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS**

IAC Chapter 12 is excited to host the annual Ben Lowell Aerial Confrontation in conjunction with the U.S. Air Force Academy!

Amenities include hangars for all competitors, a crosswind runway, and the opportunity to fly along Colorado's Front Range at the beautiful USAFA Airfield. Entry fees include lunch on the 12th/13th and dinner on the 12th.

Additional Registration Requirements:

Due to this contest occurring on an active military installation, competitors have additional registration requirements that must be completed by July 8, 2023. These requirements include paperwork to receive permission to land at the USAFA Airfield and gain access onto the installation. Upon registration, the Contest Director will individually contact competitors to assist with these requirements.

Contest Schedule:

Friday, 11 Aug:  Arrival and practice after 1200L. Please reserve practice slots on the IAC website...request 1x slot per competitor for now.

Saturday, 12 Aug:  Contest flying with Pizza Social in the USAF Hangar.

Sunday, 13 Aug:  Additional contest flying and presentation of awards.

The Academy Hotel, 8110 N Academy Blvd  --  20 double-queen rooms reserved at $135/night  --  Call 1-719-598-5770 and ask for the 'Ben Lowell Aerobatic Competition' group rate.

Cadet contest volunteers will provide shuttle transportation to/from the above hotel(s). Any other transportation assistance from local competitors is appreciated. Please contact the CD if you are able to help.
