    Scholarship Opportunities

    Aerobatic Training and Education Scholarships

    The following scholarships are offered by IAC to promote aerobatic training and education.

    • CP Aviation Emergency Maneuver Training Scholarship
      This scholarship aims to promote aviation safety through unusual attitude and aerobatic training. The applicant must be a member of IAC and hold a private pilot certificate. Scholarship amount: $2300 (no cash value)

    The following scholarships are offered by IAC Chapters to promote aerobatic training:

    • Doug Yost Memorial Aerobatic Scholarship Grant
      The purpose of this merit scholarship is to promote air safety through aerobatics training and is administered through IAC Chapter 78 in Minnesota. The applicant must hold a private pilot certificate, a current medical certificate, and Junior or Senior in College or other post-secondary school.
    • IAC Chapter 34 Aerobatic Scholarship
      This scholarship will be awarded to help advance the recipient's piloting skills by making payment toward training costs in an approved beginning aerobatic course. The applicant must complete the application form, submit a letter of recommendation and essay. The Scholarship amount will be between $500 and $1000.
